A beginner/intermediate level employment law course covering the essential elements of the employment life cycle for HR practitioners. Topics include employer obligations, managing holidays and leave, performance and discipline, workplace issues such as bullying and harassment, organisational change, and termination of employment. The course takes a practical approach with interactive learning from experienced employment lawyers.
Course Details
Delivered virtually via Zoom over two weeks: Thursday 12 November (8:30am-12:30pm) and Thursday 19 November (8:30am-12:30pm). Duration: 7 Days 4 Hours. Limited to 15 attendees. Virtual courses are not recorded.
Who Should Attend
Those who are new to HR (or coming back to it after some years away) or line managers with HR responsibilities.
Fees
HRNZ Member: $920.00 (includes GST). Non-member: $1,265.00 (includes GST). Registrations close 12:00pm Thursday 5 November unless sold out prior.
Cancellation Policy
An appropriate substitute participant is welcome any time before the course starts. A refund of fees will be made if a cancellation is received in writing at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the course. No refunds for cancellations after this date.
