An advanced workshop for occupational therapists confident with generative AI basics, exploring sophisticated tools and real-world applications including offline LLMs, AI-powered learning materials, screen-aware assistants, custom content creation, and AI agents for task automation.
What to expect
Explore cutting-edge AI tools including creating accessible learning materials, running offline LLMs for data privacy, using screen-aware AI assistants, creating custom content via Google Gems and Claude Code, converting handwriting to text, applying fact-checking strategies, and experimenting with AI agents for planning and automation.
Who should attend
Occupational therapists who want to explore advanced AI applications for client-facing work, education, research, or business tasks. Participants should have working knowledge of generative AI and familiarity with its risks and ethical implications. Not a beginner session.
Access and materials
Event runs on Zoom platform. Participants receive email with access details one day before. Course materials accessible online in OTA account for 12 weeks after event. Session will not be recorded as it is interactive. Login 10 minutes before scheduled time.
Registration fees
Early bird (on or before 30 Oct 2026): OTA Member $80, Student/New Graduate $72, Non-Member $105. Standard (31 Oct onwards): OTA Member $90, Student/New Graduate $80, Non-Member $115. All prices inclusive of GST. Registrations close 11 Nov 2026 at 11:55pm AEDT.
