Connect and Learn – Above C1: Rethinking Cervicogenic Dizziness – Ballina Join us for our End of Year Connect and Learn for 2026 with the amazing Dr Carlo Rinaudo. The topic for the evening will be “Above C1: Rethinking Cervicogenic Dizziness” catch up with local colleagues, and meet ACA Regional Manager, Cheryl Jendrachowski. Cervicogenic dizziness is frequently attributed to dysfunction at the upper cervical spine, particularly C1–C2. However, clinical experience shows that many patients do not fully respond to localised cervical treatment alone. This two hour presentation revisits cervicogenic dizziness from a central integration perspective, highlighting the role of brainstem and vestibular processing in symptoms commonly labelled as “cervical.” Attendees will be guided through a clinically relevant framework that explains why looking above C1 is often essential for understanding persistent or complex dizziness presentations.
