Please note this workshop has been postponed – new date TBC The Training Supervisor Workshop focuses on the critical role of training supervisors, particularly within the context of balancing workplace pressures, college requirements, and the learning needs of trainees. It is delivered in an interactive format that encourages participants to share experiences and learn from both peers and experienced facilitators. The workshop aims to strengthen supervisors’ understanding of their roles and responsibilities, while enhancing their ability to support trainee development effectively. Key areas include distinguishing between simply teaching and facilitating meaningful learning, adapting teaching approaches to suit individual trainees, and collaboratively setting learning goals. CPD hours This event is approved for 5 CPD hours, including 3 hours under ‘Educational Activities’ and 2 hours under ‘Performance Review’. CAPE hours Professionalism: 5 hours
