A three-session online program designed to help company secretaries in not-for-profit organisations understand their role on the board and their responsibilities. Sessions cover regulatory and legislative compliance, decision-making and ethical obligations; keeping the board on track with responsibilities and timelines; and supporting inclusion and accessibility in board member induction and onboarding.
Program Overview
Three-session program for company secretaries in not-for-profit organisations. Participants learn alongside other community sector secretaries in sessions designed to enable networking with peers. Those who complete all three sessions receive a Certificate in Community Sector Secretaryship, a micro-credential accredited by the Institute of Community Directors Australia.
Session Details
Session 1: Regulatory and legislative compliance, decision-making and ethical obligations. Session 2: Keeping the board on track with responsibilities and timelines. Session 3: Supporting inclusion and accessibility and ensuring effective induction and onboarding of new board members. All sessions via Zoom, 3pm to 5pm (Melbourne, Sydney time).
Pricing
ICDA member price: $499 (inc. GST). Non-member price: $599 (inc. GST). Membership is free.
