About this session
The Tautua Pasifika Mentoring Programme is a mentoring initiative designed to support aspiring Pacific leaders pursuing governance roles in Aotearoa New Zealand. Successful applicants are matched with senior directors for one-to-one mentoring (approximately 6-8 sessions) covering governance practices, board expectations, skill gaps, and developing a unique value proposition as a director. The programme includes two in-person workshops and networking events in Auckland during the year.
Programme Overview
The Tautua Pasifika Mentoring Programme aims to bridge the gap by providing a mentoring platform for aspiring Pacific leaders wanting to pursue a future in governance. Successful applicants will be matched with a senior director for one-to-one mentoring (approximately 6-8 sessions) providing deeper understanding of governance practices, board expectations, skill gaps, and developing unique value proposition as a director.
Cohort Workshops and Networking
During the year two in-person workshops and networking events will be held in Auckland. This is an opportunity to connect with other mentees and hear from governance experts. Mentees travelling outside of Auckland will need to organise their own travel and accommodation for these compulsory sessions.
